On 02/17/2021 at approximately 1043 hours, South San Francisco officers responded to the 10 block of Nursery Way on the report of an interrupted residential burglary. Investigation revealed that the resident’s vehicle was burglarized earlier in the morning while parked in San Francisco. During the burglary, the suspects stole two garage door remotes and a set of car keys that belonged to the South San Francisco resident.
At 1039 hours, the suspects accessed the victim’s garage door using the stolen remote. The victim’s wife was home at the time, heard noises in the garage, and scared off the suspects. One of the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s silver 2007 Lexus GS350, using the keys stolen in the auto burglary earlier in the morning. The other suspect fled in a black Chrysler 300 sedan with tinted windows. The suspect’s vehicle had a stolen California license plate (CA # 7LIC342) mounted to its rear bumper.
All three suspects were described as black males wearing black pants, black hooded sweatshirts, and black face coverings.
