We will also be sharing the weekly circular for South City Grocery Outlet because we know how prices continue to rise and how important it is that local families get the most from each dollar spent. We will also be sharing special menus from local eateries! Many of our favorite places have made big changes to keep their business afloat while serving us their delicious foods, and it is important that we patronize these places to help them succeed during these difficult times. In addition, local clubs that offer special meals will be included – we never want you to miss the delish offerings from our South San Francisco Women’s Club or other groups!
Dominic’s Cater Outs/ Dominic’s at Oyster Point is the official caterer of the SSF Conference Center and Oyster Point Yacht Club, which changed its business model when indoor dining was shut down. They added Food Trucks to enabled them to get to different locations, such as Serramonte’s Off-Grid, while also serving in front of the Conference Center and Oyster Point Yacht Club. Further, they created space at 121 South Maple where they serve their bi-monthly curbside contactless dinners. A Black Tie Affair is another long-time local favorite that has also made changes to its business model by now offering nightly family dinners, as well as single entrees – and a huge host of side dishes that can be added on. They continue to offer holiday specials and they offer free delivery to our South City neighbors as well as pick up from their 161 Beacon Ave SSF location. They have also partnered with us in the past for GAME ON Contests!
Amoura Restaurant has gone through many changes as well, from indoor dining to setting up an outdoor parklet, to offering both when the County allows. They strive to continue to bring their customers excellent service and foods, – and their bar specials are said to be the best around – check them out!

Many residents have also invested in start-up food industries including Efran who sells his Churros the first Saturday of the month and insider tip – they are the rave in South City!
Jennifer Canton has created Cupcake Heaven by Jenn – and rumor has it – one bite and you really think you are in heaven – her goods are a MUST try and she is offering an excellent menu for Easter HERE! She also offers kits that really encourage our kids in the kitchen to work with us, shared time, shared projects really are the best – and produce YUMMY results!
Specialty items, such as SoJo’s Cookies & Bites, are made to order lactation cookies & bites and they are made with ingredients known to help with milk production, **the perfect go-to snack for a nursing mom. This is a wonderful business founded by Vivian Shatara Jisrawi. She also offers seasonal favorite treats for everyone to enjoy. Check out the Spring & Easter treats! (**edit)
We also would like to shout out to Jennifer Quevedo as she regularly shares her Tupperware sales with us on our weekly Free for all Friday FB post – Jens Kitchenware City – because we all need reliable storage containers for our foods to ensure they remain fresh and last longer.
With so many start and stops in our County’s re-opening it’s been a whirlwind to try to keep up with who’s open, when, and for what – and we thank our local Chamber of Commerce for sharing a link letting us know which of their members are open for eating and drinking – and appreciate their continued updates.
