Jack Drago Cultural Arts Commission Youth Art Scholarship
Deadline: Must be received by Monday, April 12
The Cultural Arts Commission is awarding up to three scholarships, for up to a total of $3,000 (three thousand dollars) to SSF Unified School District graduating high school seniors who have shown achievement in the arts and plan to continue the study of art. Student applicants from the three SSFUSD high schools, (South San Francisco High School, El Camino High School, Baden High School), are eligible to enter. Acceptable art forms include but are not limited to: photography, sculpture, digital media, ceramics, performing arts, literary arts. Candidates should send a completed application form and submit examples of their art.
Due to pandemic restrictions; electronic entries are preferred and should be emailed to ercie.santos@ssf.net. Entries are also acceptable via the US Postal Service and should be mailed to the attention of Ercie Santos, Cultural Art Specialist, SSF Parks and Recreation Department, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Entries must be received by the entry deadline of Monday, April 12, 2021.
