CASE SOLVED – PACKAGE AND MAIL THEFT:
Between February 19, 2021 and February 24, 2021, two suspects committed numerous package and mail thefts in South San Francisco [400 Block of Alta Vista Drive], San Bruno and San Francisco residential neighborhoods. During one of the thefts, a witness was able to provide a detailed vehicle and suspect description and ultimately lead officers to a hotel nearby.
Detectives with the South San Francisco Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau responded to the hotel where they quickly identified the associated room and involved suspects.
During the course of the investigation, several thousand dollar worth of stolen property was recovered and returned to the rightful owners. Additional evidence was obtained that linked these same suspects to two recent vehicle thefts in San Bruno and San Francisco
