Join HIP Housing virtually on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 5-6 PM for our annual celebration.
This year’s event will feature a keynote by Kathryn Edin. Edin is one of the nation’s leading poverty researchers, working in the domains of welfare and low-wage work, family life, and neighborhood contexts, through direct, in-depth observations of the lives of low-income populations. She has authored 8 books, including $2 a Day: The Art of Living on Virtually Nothing in America. It was included in The New York Times 100 Notable Books of 2015, cited as “essential reporting about the rise in destitute families.”
Your event sponsorship will help HIP House continue our work to prevent homelessness, counter displacement, and enable low-income individuals and families to find, or remain in, safe, healthy, and affordable housing.
This event is free to the public thanks to our donors.
