Father’s Day is right around the corner and on the same day we formally kick off summer, Sunday June 20th, the summer solstice! We can’t think of a better time than now to collect some great grill and/or BBQ recipes from local neighbors. And gift a neighbor- or two, some FREE groceries!

i made these tender coffee brown sugar lovin oven ribs this can be made in a traeger smoker or @KamandoGrill so before roasting i baste the ribs with @koopsmustard dijon mustard an former @worldfoodchampionships sponsor from 2018 then my coffee spice rub on both sides before baking sheet and roast low n slow for 3 hours at 300 halfway through cooking covered with foil and place back to the oven at the last 30 minutes baste with @SweetBabyRaysBBQSauce return to oven to cook through. Then allow to rest 15 minutes before cutting into slabs and enjoy off the bone. Mmm it’s so good. Line pan with foil before placing ribs in for best results #gameon
Brown sugar coffee low n slow bbq ribs
1 racks beef ribs, cut into pieces to fit pan
1/2 cup Koops dijon mustard
1/2 cup sweet baby rays bbq sauce
For the rub
2 tbl fine coffee grounds
2 tbl kosher salt
1 tbl brown sugar
1 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 300
Method mix all the rub ingredients together and set aside
Cut the slab of ribs in half, trim excess fat, and brush with dijon mustard on both sides and sprinkle rub on both sides of the meat. Place rib side down on the baking pan. Bake for 3 hours halfway through cooking cover with tinfoil to avoid drying out.
At the last 30 minutes baste with bbq sauceand recover and cook through and allow to rest 15 minutes before cutting into slabs and serving. Makes 8 servings
