South San Francisco, CA September 23, 2021 Submitted by Claudia Reynoso
Viva Frida was founded by Mario Felipe and Claudia Reynoso. VIVA FRIDA is dedicated to promoting the Mexican culture by incorporating elements such as tequila, mezcal, art, food, music and traditions into their events in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Prior to founding VIVA FRIDA, Claudia graduated from South San Francisco High School and was part of Ballet Folklorico Alma de Mexico for over 10 years. Today, she is inviting the South San Francisco community to the upcoming event.
VIVA FRIDA de Noche is more than an event, it’s a cultural experience!
It’s a special space to enjoy live mariachi, indulge in tequila and mezcal tastings and admire live art paintings from talented local artists. It’s also a space to enjoy churros, tacos and Mexican antojitos from vendors within our community. It’s an opportunity to obtain beautiful Frida artwork from talented artists as well as Frida inspired creations from over 35 vendors that come from all over California. At VIVA FRIDA de Noche, women wear flowers in their hair, rebozos around their arms and shade in their eyebrows a little darker to resemble and celebrate Frida and her Mexicanidad.
We hope you can join us to be a part of this incredible experience.
