Our beloved mama Marilyn H. Cuadra passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in South San Francisco.
Marilyn was born in Ross, California on June 14, 1936. An only child of the late Loraine and Franklin Immel. She was raised in San Francisco and attend Lowell High School.
Marilyn worked in the insurance and billing department at St. Luke’s Hospital in San Francisco for 12 years before spending many years in retail at the Emporium. She thoroughly enjoyed interactions with her co-works and customers. She was always with a smile and a friendly “How are you doing?” attitude.
Marilyn leaves behind 3 wonderful daughters that she had during her marriage to Fernando Cuadra, Arlene, Sharon and Debra. Later embracing her new title as a grandmother to her 2 grandchildren, Raquel and Adam and thereafter becoming a great-grandma to her great-granddaughter Lilah.
Marilyn enjoyed bowling, cooking and hosting parties, especially during the holidays. Her love for dogs was evident considering the many dogs she had over the decades. She will always be remembered for her kindness and love.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Service on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022. Viewing will begin at 9AM with a prayer service to preside at 10AM followed by a luncheon immediately following. In lieu of flowers Marilyn’s wishes would be for donations to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
