SSFPD K-9 ASSISTANCE – On the night of January 25, 2022, South San Francisco Police Officer Nick Michels and his canine partner, Morty, responded into Daly City to assist with a residential burglary in progress. Morty helped search the residence and was utilized in taking two suspects hiding inside the house into custody safely. Both suspects were taken into custody by Daly City Police Department officers.
Our police canines are great assets to not only our city and organization, but to many other neighboring police departments and jurisdictions.
Great work by our canine team! Good boy Morty! You definitely deserve an extra dog treat tonight.
