MED PROJECT KIOSK – We wanted to remind everyone that there is a Med Project kiosk in the lobby of our police department. Please take advantage of this service and safely dispose of your medication.
What Can I Dispose Of?
Below are general guidelines for the products that will and will not be accepted in kiosks.
Medicine:
To protect your privacy, people are reminded to remove all personally identifiable information on medication labels or packaging before disposing of unwanted medicine.
Accepted:
Medication in any dosage form, except for those listed below, in their original container or sealed bag are accepted.
Not Accepted
* Herbal remedies
* Vitamins
* Supplements
* Cosmetics
* Other personal care products
* Medical devices
* Batteries
* Mercury-containing thermometers
* Sharps
* Illicit drugs
Do not place medicine in the trash or recycling, and never flush them down the toilet.
