Lay/Time: Saturday April 2nd 9am – 3:30pm

Location: Corporation Yard, 550 N. Canal St. 

SOUTH CITY RESIDENTS: Please help keep our City clean and do your part by responsibly disposing of your unwanted items at this FREE event! Open to South San Francisco residents only. Proof of residency (i.e. driver’s license, ID, utility bill) is required. One carload allowed per household, please. 

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

  • Household hazardous waste (motor oil, paint, antifreeze)
    • Tires & green waste
    • Auto parts, batteries
    • Fluorescent light bulbs
    • Construction/demolition debris, dirt, rock, concrete

WHAT IS ACCEPTED (Please refer to map below for station location):

STATION #1 

(Small Items – SSF Scavenger)
• Clothes, shoes, accessories
• Toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals
• Linens, pillows, tablecloths, fabric
• Shoes, lamps, vacuums
• Hardback and paperback books
• Records, tapes, CDs, videos, DVDs
• Crafts, mugs, vases, pictures/frames, baskets

STATION #2

 (Large Items – SSF Scavenger)
• Mattresses, box springs
• Furniture, bicycles
• Washer or dryer
• Gardening, exercise equipment

STATION #3
(E-waste – ZARC)
• Camcorders, TV’s, VCR
• Cell and desk phones
• Computers, keyboards, monitors, servers
• Laptops
• Radios, scanners
• Microwaves and small kitchen appliances
(working or not)
STATION #4
(Paper Shredding – SSF Scavenger)
Residents are allowed up to five file
boxes for document destruction.
Please note that in order to keep
the line moving, you cannot wait for
your documents to be shredded.
No metal of any kind, no binders.
Paper products only please.
