Job Description:
Saint Veronica is seeking a qualified middle school teacher for the 2022-2023school year.This is a full-time,exempt,instructional position.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Love for learning
- Experience with children
Preferred candidate:
- A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church
- Valid California teaching credential. If the candidate does not possess a valid California teaching credential, (s)he must acquire one within five years of the date of hire.

St. Veronica Catholic School Extended Care Staff Member
St. Veronica Catholic School Extended Care Program is looking for part-time staff members (about 15 hours per week) for the academic school year.
Staff should have experience working with groups of children, be comfortable assisting with activities and games, and a positive attitude. This position, along with the staff members, is responsible for managing all aspects of the extended care program including but not limited to: check in, snack, homework support, programming/planning and activities.
General and Specific Responsibilities
· Check-in and sign-out each St. Veronica student for Attendance
· Ensure safe drop off and pick up procedures are being followed
· Ensure that there are appropriate snacks for each participant, each day
· Work with other members to organize a range of exciting activities, like yoga, arts & crafts, outdoor play, etc.
· Set up before school dismissal and clean up after last student is picked up, leaving the area you are using cleaner than you found it
· Other duties, as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years working at camp or in comparable child-focused position
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to sit on the floor, lift up to 30 lbs, able to observe multiple children at the same time, have stamina and energy to keep pace with a large group of children
· Ability to multitask and prioritize
· Demonstrate good judgment and ability to problem solve
· Be able to maintain all safety precautions put in place for drop off and pick up, including identifying parents
· Able to work in a noisy, hectic environment
· CPR/First Aid Certification
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Must be available to work in the afternoon
Job Type: Part-time Salary: $16-18/hour
Must be available to work: 2:30pm – 5:30pm
