SUSPECTS ARRESTED – STOLEN GUN AND DELAYING OFFICERS – Yesterday, our Neighborhood Response Team made a traffic stop on the 3900 Stein Court for several vehicle code violations. Officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana and also observed marijuana in plain view inside the vehicle. All three suspects initially refused to exit the vehicle in order to conduct a search of the vehicle. After negotiating with the suspects for some time, the officers were able to safely remove the suspects without using any force. During a search of the vehicle, the Officers located a stolen and loaded firearm. All the suspects were placed under arrest for weapons violations and delaying the Officers in the course of their duties. One of the suspects was out on bail for a previous firearms related arrest. Great job to our Neighborhood Response Team for taking another gun off the street and for safety apprehending these suspects.
