South San Francisco, CA  June 17, 2022 via Legacy

May 20, 1952 – May 18, 2022

Bernard “Bernie” Guerrero passed away comfortably at home the evening of May 18th surrounded by his family.

A husband, father, son, brother, papa, friend, coach, confidant….there are almost too many adjectives to describe this incredible man.

Those who knew Bernie could easily find him at a baseball field coaching his Sergeants team, being Papa playing with his grandsons, or watching and talking about the Giants, Niners, or Warriors.

He was adored by family and friends for his kind heart, dependability, and listening ears. He was well known for his contagious smile, his love of dancing, and the warm energy that could be felt by every person he met.

He will be forever missed and will always hold a piece of our hearts.

Bernie was the son of Manuela and Julio (deceased). He was the oldest of seven children and the remaining patriarch of the Guerrero Familia. He is survived by his siblings Sylvia, Elizabeth and husband David, Lupe, Albina and husband Rick, JR and wife Sara, and Ricardo and wife Jill.

Bernie is also survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary. Their four children, Tommy, Tony, Mario, and Amanda along with his daughter-in-law Brooke and grandsons Mateo and Dominic. He is also survived by his many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bernie taught and inspired many to be good humans and he himself was a great man.

Bernie we love you.
