SSFPD Media Release: Strong Arm Robbery

On June 16, 2022 at around 10:45 PM, the victim was riding his electric scooter on the 400 block of Hemlock Avenue in South San Francisco. The victim was approached by a male driving a 1999-2007 silver Ford Focus with it’s headlights off. The driver of the Ford Focus, who is described as a male wearing a ski mask, demanded the victim’s property and threatened to shoot the victim. The victim fled from the suspect, but fell off his scooter and was approached by the suspect vehicle again, at which time the suspect again demanded the victim’s property. The victim, fearing for his safety surrendered his electric scooter, backpack, and wallet. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene towards the 500 block of Hemlock Avenue.

 

The suspect and suspect vehicle are still outstanding.
