FIREARM & DRUG SALES ARREST – Early Friday morning (7-08-22), our officers contacted a 54 year old male from Pacifica at a local hotel located on the 200 block of South Airport Boulevard. During a consent search of the subject’s vehicle, officers located a backpack containing approximately 2 lbs. of individually packaged marijuana, a digital scale, a glass pipe, and loaded semi-automatic firearm. The male was also determined to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for his arrest and to be a convicted felon which prohibited him from owning or possessing firearms. The male was subsequently arrested for several gun and drug related charges and was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
Chief Campbell was pleased to hear about the incident and commented, “This was an example of proactive police work resulting in the safe apprehension of an armed drug dealer.” He also commended the involved officers for keeping our city safe.
