It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Nandina Bartoli on August 28, 2022 just a few days shy of her 97th birthday. Nandina was born in Lucca, (Lammari) Italy. She immigrated to the United States in 1948 to join her two brothers in South San Francisco where she met and married Renzo in 1949.
She was married for 61 years until Renzo’s passing in 2010. Nandina was a devoted mother to Dan and Bob (Nancy), Nonni to Daniel (Louise) and Rob (Michelle), and great-grandmother to Luca and Gianna. She also leaves nieces and nephews here and in Italy.
Nandina was passionate about her cooking. She loved cooking for her family & friends. No one ever went home hungry. Her raviolis were fantastic!
Nandina was an avid card player and enjoyed her bus trips to Reno.
Nandina’s family wishes to thank all of her caregivers from A Family Affair for the care and kindness they provided during the past four years.

Funeral Mass Thursday, September 1, 2022, 10:00 am at All Souls Catholic Church, 315 Walnut Avenue, South San Francisco. Private family committal follows.
