FOOT PURSUIT / POSSESSION OF FIREARM – JUVENILE ARREST: Last week, Officers responded to the 700 block of Linden Avenue on a report of a fight between several juveniles. During our investigation it was revealed a firearm fell onto the ground during the fight by one of the juveniles, a 15 year old South San Francisco resident. Officers were unable to locate the juvenile at this time, however, two days later an Officer located the juvenile walking in the same area. The juvenile immediately fled from the Officer on foot. Our Officers were able to capture the juvenile and take him into custody safely after a short foot pursuit. The Smith and Wesson 9MM firearm (serial number scratched off) was located and it was loaded with a round in the chamber and a full magazine. The juvenile was placed under arrest for numerous felony charges and booked at Hillcrest Juvenile Hall. Thank you to our Officers for taking another firearm off the streets especially removing them from our juveniles!!
