Remembering and Honoring our War Dead: Wreaths Across America Golden Gate National Cemetery

South San Francisco, CA  December 24, 2022 by Roger Cain

I went to Golden Gate National Cemetery this evening where the Wreaths Across America placed wreaths in various locations in the cemetery. Each year they place them in a new location, as they don’t have enough for the entire cemetery. Personally, I pay for a few each year and encourage others to do likewise, the cost is only $15 each, or 5 wreaths for $75.Volunteers place the wreaths on December 16th and remove them in January.
