ARSON / DRUG ARREST – Yesterday, our Officers responded to Orange Memorial Park on the report that subjects had just lit a fire inside the restrooms near the basketball courts. A transient 20-year-old female was contacted leaving the scene and identified by a witness. The female admitted to starting the fire and was placed under arrest for arson. She was also found to be in possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. The female was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST – Early yesterday morning, our Officers received a stolen vehicle alert from one of our Automated License Plate Recognition cameras.
A short time later, our Officers located the stolen vehicle on the 100 block of Gateway Boulevard. The driver, 30-year-old South San Francisco resident, was safely taken into custody. The driver was also driving with a suspended license due to prior DUI arrests and had two warrants out for his arrest for public intoxication and driving with a suspended license. The driver was booked at the main jail.
