JUVENILE SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, FELONY EVADING, POSSESSION OF STOLEN VEHICLE:
On Tuesday (12-27-22), one of our Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle at the intersection of Radburn Drive and King Drive. As the Officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver, 15 year old San Francisco resident, intentionally rammed into a police vehicle and fled. Officers initially pursued the vehicle but terminated due to the suspect’s reckless driving. There were no injuries to the Officer.
About two hours later, the suspect was located on South Airport Boulevard. Officers pursued the stolen vehicle a second time as it fled. Officers terminated the pursuit when the suspect intentionally began driving the wrong way on city streets. After the pursuit was terminated, the suspect continued to drive recklessly and caused a collision with multiple vehicles within the San Francisco International Airport’s jurisdiction. Two occupants of the vehicles that were struck during the collision were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The suspect attempted to flee from the collision on foot and was apprehended a short distance away. The suspect was placed under arrested and transported to Hillcrest Juvenile Hall.
