NARCOTIC SEIZURE – Yesterday afternoon, our officers seized a large amount of marijuana, heroin, fentanyl, and LSD from inside a hotel room at a local hotel on the 300 block of Gateway Boulevard. Officers additionally located evidence of drug sales and distribution. The investigation is still ongoing.
Great job intercepting and seizing these drugs before it could harm our community.

December 1st, 2022

CARJACKING SUSPECT ARREST: Last night, our Officers responded to the area of South Airport Boulevard in response to an activation from one of our Automated License Plate Recognition cameras. The cameras identified a vehicle that was stolen in a carjacking in an East Bay city.
Our Neighborhood Response Team located the vehicle at a gas station on South Airport Boulevard. The suspect, a 26 year old Oakland resident, who was associated to the carjacking was safely taken into custody and booked at the main jail.
A huge thanks to our new crime fighting technology for identifying this vehicle and for our Neighborhood Response Team for locating and capturing this dangerous individual.
