Hey South City Seniors:
The Roberta Cerri Teglia Center, located at 601 Grand Ave, is very excited to begin the Congregate Nutrition Program in South San Francisco. Lunch will be served every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 12:00p.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m. on the 3rd floor. In order to participate in the program, you must be 60 years or older and submit an application no later than Wednesday, February 1, 2023, to participate in congregate meals in the month of February. Applications for future months must be in by the 15th of the month prior to the month you would like to participate in the congregate meal program.
You may obtain an application by clicking here or get a hard copy from the Roberta Cerri Teglia Center or the Municipal Services Building.

There must be money involved in this Congregate meal program for someone. Maybe the company or group who made up this ridiculous application!

True, not all people know what a congregate luncheon means. This should be explained.
Really, how many seniors are going to understand or answer to the ridiculous amount of “sex” choices on the application?
Do we have to be so politically correct as to cause confusion with our elderly population?!
