It was a wild night in Modesto last evening as SSFAC came up with a huge road win outlasting Modesto City FC by a count of 6-4. South City hit the ground running as they exploded for a 5-1 halftime lead, but the home side wasn’t about to give in and the rallied for three 2nd half goals to make a game of it. Five different players found the net for SSF with Greg Hui collecting 2, and teammates Carlos Ballesteros, Brendan Cadam, Kian Katanforoosh, & Aidan Durgerian each adding one. SSFAC maintains its hold on 2nd place in the very tight Pacific Premier League of the SWPL as the top five spots are only separated by 7 points with some of the teams having played fewer games.
SSF looks to stay on track when they host Modesto City FC in a return match this coming Saturday afternoon, February 11th at El Camino High School with kickoff set for 2:30pm.
Come on out and support your local mens team as they play their final home match of the season. It’s Exciting, It’s Entertaining, and most of all….It’s FREE.
