March 7th, 2023 – South San Francisco, CA – from the SSF City Updates 
CalFresh Emergency Allotments authorized by Congress during the COVID-19 pandemic to all CalFresh households will be discontinued after they are issued for the February 2023 benefit month in late March 2023.
Emergency allotments temporarily provided $95 increases in benefits in addition to the normal amounts.
CalFresh recipients will continue to receive their standard monthly financial assistance on an EBT card to help them purchase healthy foods.
