GUN ARREST – Last Saturday, our officers contacted a 22 year old male from San Francisco and 25 year old female from South San Francisco in the parking lot of a grocery store on the 2200 block of Gellert Boulevard during a theft investigation.
Officers conducted a search of their vehicle a located a loaded 9mm Hi-Point handgun. A search of the male subject also revealed he was in possession of suspected cocaine.
A criminal history check of both subjects revealed they were prohibited from possessing firearms as the male was a convicted felon and both had restraining orders against them. Both subjects were subsequently placed under arrest for firearm and drug related charges.
Kudos to our dayshift weekend personnel! Your diligent work took another firearm off the street and protected our community.
