AbbVie celebrates the “AbbVie Week of Possibilities” with STEM Lab makeover at Spruce Elementary School

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 29, 2023 – Local biotechnology firm, AbbVie and their non-profit partner, Heart of America, volunteered their time and expertise to renovate learning spaces at Spruce Elementary School in honor of AbbVie’s Week of Possibilities held from June 26-30, 2023.

“I am grateful to AbbVie and their partner, Heart of America, for their investment in our youth. The remodeled STEM lab and outdoor learning space ensures that all children have the tools to succeed in South San Francisco,” said Mayor Flor Nicolas.

AbbVie’s Week of Possibilities is AbbVie’s global volunteering program rallying thousands of AbbVie employees all over the world to volunteer together the week of June 26-30, 2023. 2023 marks AbbVie’s 8th Week of Possibilities, which unites employees around the world with a single purpose: to give back to local communities through volunteering.
