ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS WITH A FIREARM ARRESTED: Yesterday, our cameras alerted us to an “Armed and Dangerous Felony Vehicle” in our city. The vehicle was involved in an armed robbery with a firearm days prior in San Mateo County.
The San Bruno Police Department then located this vehicle in the area of Junipero Serra Boulevard and King Drive. While this was occurring, our Dispatch Center received an emergency call of an armed robbery with a handgun in the Buri Buri neighborhood.
With the assistance of the San Bruno Police Department, a high risk stop was conducted on the vehicle and both occupants were taken into custody safely. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a firearm and items linking them to the robberies. Both suspects were placed under arrest for Armed Robbery, Conspiracy, and Multiple Firearm Related Offenses and booked at the jail.
Huge thank you to the San Bruno Police Department for locating the suspect vehicle. We appreciate your assistance!!
