The South City Shuttle provides free service around South San Francisco Monday through Friday (except certain holidays), with trips to local stores, City Hall, parks, and much more. The shuttle provides transit connections with SamTrans and BART. This free shuttle is open to the general public.
A New Route is Coming!
That’s right! The addition and start of a new route is scheduled to start operations late August 2023 (date TBD). This new and additional route will include stops throughout various neighborhoods in Winston Manor, Serra Highlands, Buri Buri, Avalon, and Westborough. Please stay tuned for more info!

Yesterday, saw most of the shuttle’s orange bus stops while going west on Avalon. Believe the shuttle then turns right/North on Junipero Serra, left/west up Westborough, makes a stop at the Arco/Oliver’s gas station, right/north on Galway, stops by the firehouse, left on Greendale, making 3 stops, including one by the back of Westborough Middle School, and another by St. Augustine’s church, left/south on Callan, stopping at Seafood City, then back down/left/south on Westborough. So glad this shuttle will start this month. Big Thanks to Vice-Mayor Nagales for looking out for us in the Westborough community.
