The South San Francisco Citizens’ Academy is a free, nine-week program designed to help South San Francisco residents learn about their city government. As a participant, you will meet City Council members, department heads, and staff. You will learn how decisions are made, how funds are allocated, and how departments operate. You will also have a chance to visit and tour city facilities. It will be held in the evening, once a week, for nine weeks. If you are interested, please fill out the application below.

Applications are due Friday, August 25, 2023. Space is limited, is not based on “first-come, first-served”, and all applicants may not be admitted. Applicants will be notified of their participation status during the week of August 28 – September 1.
