Help us help our neighbors!
You may not realize it, but your neighbor, or co-worker, or classmate, or you – may be coming up short on funds this month and has to decide between paying rent, or paying for medication, or for groceries. How can we help?
By giving just a few hours a few times a year, YOU can combat hunger, and help neighbors breathe a bit easier.
Once a month, All Souls Parish holds a food distribution made possible through a partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank.
Volunteers are needed to set up the groceries into bags and boxes, direct traffic, check-in guests, and load groceries into cars.
Can you lend a hand this Saturday, August 26th from 10 AM to 1:30 PM at the All Souls Parking Lot
(corner of Spruce and Miller) in South San Francisco?
Help 300 households in our area!!
Just show up before 10 AM this Saturday to check in.
Everyone is welcome, and if you are under 18, you’ll need to work with your parent.
This is a great project for a family, a club, a team, students who need Community Service hours, to do together!!
Please do not park in the All Souls lot – that space is needed for the Food Distribution.
Our future food distributions, in addition to this Saturday, will be on: September 23rd and October 28th.
If you need food, don’t hesitate to check out www.SHFB.org or simply line up (starting at 11 AM) on the dates of the distributions at All Souls.
