Mark Tracy Gallegos Obituary

South San Francisco, CA – October 12, 2023 – Garden Chapel Funeral Directors

Mark Tracy Gallegos (56) passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2023, with his family by his side.

Born May 16, 1967, in San Francisco, the eldest son to the late Eugene and Sandra Gallegos. Mark lived out his life as a second-generation native of the Industrial City of South San Francisco. He grew up in Buri Buri, and attended El Camino High School where he graduated in 1986.

He started his masonry career at a young age. If you drove with him around town, then you are familiar with his work all over South City. Mark had an enormous heart, and a wonderful sense of humor, and was popular with lifetime friends who called themselves “The Rat Pack”. He enjoyed parties, and social gatherings where he was always upbeat and willing to make you laugh at no expense. He would often be seen around town shopping with his mom, Sandy, or walking the family dog. He loved his friends and their families and was always there to help in any way he could.

He is survived by his sisters Gabrielle and Danielle Gallegos and was the older brother to the late John Anthony Gallegos. His beautiful smile, cute dimples, and goofiness will greatly be missed by all. He is loved by many and will never be forgotten.

Our sincere Thank You to “The Rat Pack” for their generosity in providing the services.

Please join our family on October 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Garden Chapel in South San Francisco followed by “A Celebration of life” at 5:30 p.m. at Molloy’s in Colma.
