South San Francisco Police Arrest Suspect for 17 Vehicle Burgarlies

South San Francisco, CA  November 20, 2023 by SSFPD

Last Tuesday morning, our Officers and Detective Bureau investigated 15 vehicle burglaries in the area of A, B and C street. Through their investigation, they were able to identify the suspect, served a search warrant at his residence, and recovered some of the stolen items. We were unable to locate the suspect at this time.

The next morning, Officers again responded to the same area on a report of a suspect looking into vehicles and discovered two additional vehicles that had been burglarized. The officer immediately canvassed the area and located the suspect hiding in between two houses. The suspect then ran from the Officers and started to hop fences in several backyards. With the assistance of the Colma and San Bruno Police Department, the suspect was apprehended safely.

The suspect was charged with resisting arrest, vandalism, possession of burglary tools and 17 counts of burglary.

Great teamwork by all those involved in catching this burglar! Thank you, Colma and San Bruno Police for your assistance!
