TWO FIREARMS RECOVERED: Early Sunday morning, Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the area of Sister Cities Boulevard and discovered the driver, 24 year old South San Francisco resident and convicted felon, had been drinking and driving. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI and was found to be in possession of drugs for sales. Officer conducted a search of his vehicle and located a stolen firearm in his vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest for numerous felony charges and booked at the main jail.
Shortly after this incident, Officers located a stolen vehicle in the area of South Airport Boulevard and Mitchell Avenue. The suspects abandoned the vehicle on Highway 101 near Oyster Point Boulevard and attempted to flee on foot. Four juveniles out of San Francisco were located close by and placed under arrest. The stolen vehicle was searched and an unregistered loaded firearm was located inside the vehicle.
Great job to our Swing and Graveyard Officers for recovering two firearms and taking these suspects into custody safely. We appreciate you all for working the night shift!!
