On Thursday night, April 10, 2014 just after 10 PM, a 27 year-old South San Francisco woman was robbed on Centennial Trail near the 1000 Block of Mission Road by two unidentified suspects, one of whom was armed with a gun.
The first suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and forcefully pulled it off of !her shoulder. He handed the victim’s purse to a second suspect, who took the purse and fled the scene on foot. The victim chased the suspect towards Mission Road and got into a physical altercation with him. The suspect then drew a handgun and pistol-whipped the victim. Both suspects were last seen running through a nearby parking lot towards Grand Avenue.
Suspect #1 was described as an African-American male in his early 20’s, 5’8″ and about 160 lbs. He was wearing a baseball cap with a red bill, a black short sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, black basketball shoes and armed with a semiautomatic pistol.
Suspect #2 was also described as an African-American male in his early 20’s, 5’08” and about 160 lbs. He had dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black basketball shoes.
The victim was treated and released at the scene for non-life threating injuries.
