SSFPD Media Release: Attempted Bank Robbery

A suspect entered a bank (Wells Fargo Bank 333 Linden Ave)  in South San Francisco, helped himself to free coffee and cookies, approached a teller and said,”Give me all your money. “The suspect repeated,  “This  is a holdup, “several times while demanding the bank’s  money which caused the teller to feel fearful. A  bank manager intervened and the suspect left the bank.

The suspect was  followed at a distance by the manager who provided his route of travel to police as well as his description.  John Bryan Jensen, a 42 yr old South City resident & laborer,   was located and detained by officers. After  further investigation, Jensen was placed under arrest and was booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility and held on $25K bail.
