UPDATE
The person that was the victim is my daughter – that attends Parkway Middle School and was at Eucalyptus approaching Grand Ave. Gianna fled from him and ran a few blocks to Commercial Ave where after school provider received her & Gianna was in distress and of course you can imagine frightened beyond belief. At first we weren’t going to say anything and despite of how shaken up Gianna is she doesn’t want this person back by her school and fears for other girls in the area and if could be successful at getting them to go with him. Giannas only wish is that this creates enough awareness for other kids so they aren’t victims as well. I want to thank SSF PD for the diligent efforts of their investigation: the schools resource officer, Officer Perez & Officer Hancock! In addition I would like to thank the VP and Principal at Parkway for the calls today and all their efforts to create awareness & continued support! To all my friends at So. City for the calls, support & eagerness to make sure we get this out to everyone … Thank you to all from Gianna Evans & our family! –Roqz Ortiz
