Violeta Mishelle Maldonado Bravo: My Valentine is my future husband, this is our second valentine’s day together and we are getting married next Thursday at City Hall. He is super sweet, loving, caring, down to earth, a Libra man who weighs out all his options and keeps me mellow as a Gemini girl, and he has the best dimples that made me kiss him first on our first date. Our love grows with each passing day and I am proud to say I can’t wait to be his wife.

Angelique Presidente: Because all 3 of my minis will always have my heart and even the largest Valentine money could buy will still never show them just how much I love them!!! They each deserve the moon and the stars and if I could I would give them that and more!

Vannessa Ocampo Rodriguez: Because he is the best father/husband in the world and He works so hard to put a roof over our heads n food on our table. Plus vday is just an extra day of the year to spoil him a lil more n show him how much we love him

Sharon Kay Gustilo Meyer has 2 special Valentine's - her Goddaughters

Sharon Kay Gustilo Meyer has 2 special Valentine’s – her Goddaughters

Sharon Kay Gustilo Meyer: My Valentines are my god daughter (Kayla, 2) and her baby sister (Kaylyn, 6 months). They are my babies until I have babies of my own. I don’t think I have ever loved anyone as much as them. Kayla is the sweetest little girl I’ve ever met. She is never hesitant to give you kisses and tell you “Laab (love) you.” And Kaylyn is my little chunky monkey.

Being a full time college student who works only part time, the only thing I can give them for Valentine’s Day is love and maybe a couple hundreds of thousand kisses and tell them constantly how much I love them. I’ll even throw in a private concert of their favorite song, “You Are My Sunshine.” They deserve it simply because they are my everything. When I’m with them in person, via FaceTime, on the phone or even seeing their picture, it’s as if nothing in the world matters and they make me feel like everything is going to be alright. They are what pushes me to finish school so not only can I be a great role model and to be a better person overall, but so that I can spoil them lol. My definition of love is the feeling I get when I hold them close or even when I think of them throughout the day. It’s an describable feeling. All I know is that it’s love and that’s what Valentine’s Day is all about.

Alan Lopez: Sadly me and my girl won’t be spending Valentine’s Day together. We knew each other for 11 yrs. And just recently last year we rekindled our love for each other. And last July was. The first time in 11yrs we saw each other face to face. Not counting Skype. We were so happy during my vacation in Nicaragua but those two weeks felt a life time with here. But if I could I would fly over there and surprise her at her medical post and spend a lovely night eating dinner and watching movies but this year we will be spending it together in a way on Skype reminiscing the past laughing at our silly jokes and just talking about our upcoming marriage this Oct or Dec that hopefully she can come here to ssf if I couldn’t ask for a better valentine’s day even though we aren’t actually physically together we will still be there at heart

Saskia Garay: My valentine’s day to be with my family and god. To be thankful each day to be alive. My daughter is the best gift god gave me. Love you Emy.

Anna DeMarco Tholl: Because he takes care of me, accepts me for who I am, and loves my cooking.

Madeline Ocampo and her Valentine, her husband

Madeline Ocampo and her Valentine, her husband

Madeline Ocampo: My Valentine is my husband. We’ve been together for 7year and married for 2 with a 5y/o son named Ulysses. While I am a full time student, my husband works MANY hours a week to support us so that I am able to continue to be a full time student. Even after a long day of work, instead of plopping down on the couch, without me even having to ask he’ll do the dishes or laundry or whatever household chores that needs to be done. He’s so incredibly helpful, selfless and caring; he never complains about anything and is truly the man of my dreams

Mary Ellen Greenway: It’s my 11 yr old son Christian….who since my being diagnosed with cancer has been so patient n loving an extra helpful with chores n things that I was able to do before without a second thought. It is just he n I, and I always some when faced with a mates illness some adults turn away from added responsibilities….not Christian, his tender heart is always there to help n love no questions asked. I had him later in life n thought God was off his rocker….but should have known HE always has a plan n he sent me an angel that keeps me going when I want to lay down cry n give up!

Kimberly Diaz: My husband and two sons are my special valentines each and every year. All three of them are so kind, loving and supportive of me and each other. Together we can make it through all that life throws at us.

Carolina Victoria Salinas and her Valentine, her husband

Carolina Victoria Salinas and her Valentine, her husband

Carolina Victoria Salinas: My husband. He is one of the most kindest and loving persons you will ever meet. He has a gentle soul and would do anything to help you out. He goes out of his way to make sure you are ok. He makes sure that everything is taken care of before he heads out the door every morning at 6am, walking the dog, coffee packed, lunches ready and clothes set. He is very hard working and strives everyday to make each day awesome, fun and a chance to learn from mistakes. Even on days that seem like hell, he makes the best of it. He is deserving of my gift because he loves me through good times and bad, through thick and thin and because he is the most amazing man soul I’ve met

Christina Menches Cyr: He is so helpful, loving and sweet.

Jeannette Yesitsnineletters: I’m my own valentine and I always give myself the best gifts

Angelique Valdez: My hubby is deserving because he never asks for anything and always gives of himself to anyone in need. He is the first to volunteer to help his friends and family financially, with projects around the house or just to take a long ride with them if they need company. He’s the guy that helps old ladies cross the street or stops to help people push their cars to the nearest gas station, even if it’s pouring rain. He’s made it possible for me to stay home, go back to school and fully enjoy my first pregnancy and I will be able to stay at home and raise our daughter. He fills every need for everyone without asking or missing a beat and all while excelling in his career and always looking for ways to “build his empire” and provide for us. Can’t say enough about my guy! Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!
