Nenette Santos has been creating realistic human portraits on colored pencil since 2006. She excels in capturing the emotion and character of every subject she draws and paints. Currently, she has been creating still-life using the trompe l’oeil style. It is a painting technique that fools the viewer’s eye, making the object appear three-dimensional.
She will be exhibiting a few of recent art works along with other award artists from September 6-October 6, 2013 at Coast Arts League Gallery and Museum in Half-Moon Bay. Nenette is a long time South City resident and an active minister and youth choir director at All Souls Catholic Church. You may see her other works at HERE
Some of Nenette ‘Net’ beautiful work can be seen below. Please come out and support our very own local artist as she makes her first public presentation this month and next, in Half Moon Bay.
