You are Invited to a Workshop for the Downtown Station Area Plan

September 17 | 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Municipal Serivices Building | Council Chambers

33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco

Downtown South San Francisco is a unique place in our community with many positive attributes, as well as some opportunities for revitalization.  The planning process is underway for the Downtown Station Area Plan which will result in a Specific Plan that will guide future development in areas of downtown and within a half mile radius from the Caltrain station. Key elements include: revitalization for downtown, moderate intensification of uses, pedestrian and bicycle improvements, and improved connectivity to the Caltrain station and to areas east of 101.

The community meeting will focus on Grand Avenue design ideas, downtown programs and events, pedestrian and bicycle improvements, housing, employment, and land uses. After a brief presentation, attendees will engage in small working groups with other community members to share ideas and provide valuable input for the plan.  We strongly encourage residents, business owners and other interested parties to participate in this important discussion about the future of downtown.

To learn more about the plan, please visit the project website:

www.ssfdowntownplan.org.
