On March 2, 2014 at approximately 12:45AM, a residential burglary occurred on the 300 block of Second Lane. An unknown person entered the garage, located below the victim’s residence, through the back door and once inside took a pair of shoes. During the burglary the residents, who were upstairs, heard noises coming from their garage.
When the residents went to investigate the noises, they noticed the garage door was slightly open. The residents attempted to open the door, but the suspect inside pushed the door closed and locked it. The suspect then opened the door a few inches and reached out while pointing a firearm at the occupants. The occupants ran and called police while the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction. At this time there is no suspect information.
