SSFPD Media Release: Suspicious Circumstance, Trespassing, Possible Child Annoyance

South San Francisco, CA      March 28, 2014   Submitted by SSFPDSSFPD logo

On Thursday, March 27, 2014 at about 10:10 a.m., several students reportedly saw a man walk onto the playground area where students were at play during recess. The students alerted a teacher who saw the man running back to his car parked on Miller Avenue and fleeing the area. The man never made contact with any students.

The man was described as possibly a white or light-skinned Hispanic male adult, about 25-35 years old, about 5’6″ tall with a slender build and curly brown hair. The man may have had a mustache and was seen wearing a dark colored jacket and dark colored pants. The car was described as a white or light gray older model, 4-door Toyota or Honda with light tints on the windows.

Any persons with information are encouraged to contact the South San Francisco Police Department at (650) 877-8900 or via the Anonymous TIP line at (650) 952-2244.

UPDATE; This was at Sunshine Gardens Elementary School – 1200 Block of Miller. Thank you to Anita Porpoise for bringing this to our attention, that we had left that off of our initial share.
