RONALD McDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES® OF THE BAY AREA AWARDS $150,000 IN COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FUNDS TO BAY AREA STUDENTS
Scholarships Total More Than $1.8 Million Over 13 Year Program
| WHAT: | Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of the Bay Area will award $150,000 in college scholarship funds to exceptional students at the annual Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bay Area Recognition & Scholarship Awards Ceremony. The scholarships will be awarded to a total of 152 recipients, including 56 past winners who are able to renew their award each year to continue their education. |
Through the support of local Greater Bay Area McDonald’s® restaurant owners, and other regional business and community organizations, RMHC of the Bay Area has awarded more than $1.8 million in scholarships to more than 1,500 students since the program began in 2002. Scholarship recipients are invited to re-apply for the scholarship every year they are in college.
