On 5-9-14 at approximately 9:30 P.M., members of the South San Francisco Police Department’s Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) spotted a white Ford F l 50 with paper plates westbound on Hickey Boulevard at Hilton Avenue in South San Francisco. The vehicle matched the description of a vehicle used in a home invasion robbery earlier in the week on Susie Way in South San Francisco.
When the Neighborhood Response Team officers attempted to stop the vehicle to investigate, the driver accelerated and led South San Francisco police on a high speed chase onto northbound Junipero Serra Boulevard and through a red light at Serramonte Boulevard in Colma. The suspect vehicle then entered northbound Highway 280 and began to use the right shoulder of the freeway as traffic was heavy. Officers lost sight of the suspect northbound Highway 280 at the 19th Avenue split in San Francisco.
The truck is described as a short bed white 201 1 Ford Fl 50 extended cab with chrome rims and paper plates with a white background and red lettering.
The driver is described as a bald white male and approximately 30-35 years old.
Anyone with information on any possible suspects is asked to call the South San Francisco Police Department at 650-877-8900.
