South City Shuttle
Free public transportation beginning November 4, 2014
The South City Shuttle, a new FREE public transportation option will begin operations November 4, 2014. The shuttle is funded by San Mateo County Transportation Authority.
The shuttle route travels around South San Francisco to City Hall, the Magnolia Senior Center, Main Library, MSB, local stores and will make transit connections with Samtrans buses and BART. The shuttle will operate 15 daily weekday trips beginning at 7:15 am and ending at 6:50 pm.
For more information about the shuttle, please CLICK HERE or call 1-800-660-4287.
The Free Shuttle should extend one more stop at Westborough mall.
I agree with Victoria about the stop at El Camino & 1st. The shuttle shouldn’t stop there.
I just saw the map of the new SCS. I can’t wait until it starts. My mom is a resident at the Rotary Plaza Senior Center and is thrilled. My concern is the stop at El Camino Real & 1st Street. By the look of the map, the shuttle turns left from El Camino Real to Westborough Blvd. That stop at El Camino & 1st is too close to Westborough Blvd, especially during the commute hours. I think that stop should be eliminated before the shuttle starts service.
I see the stops now. Disregard the last.
Is there a map available for the new South City shuttle?
Hi Roberto,
Your best bet would be to contact SamTrans directly with your inquiry as their website doesn’t offer that info at this time.

Where are the stop going to be? Since samTrans pulled away from the Hillside Blvd area, where will the shuttle stop? Is the city going to erect shuttle stop signs?
No page at http://www.samtrans.com/SCS
