URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA 122 PM PST TUE DEC 30 2014 ...STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS ACROSS THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA THROUGH MIDDAY WEDNESDAY... ...FREEZING TEMPERATURES LIKELY ACROSS INLAND PORTIONS OF THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND MONTEREY BAY AREA LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING... A COLD AND DRY STORM SYSTEM SWEPT INTO THE AREA EARLY THIS MORNING. THIS STORM SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE STRONG AND GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS ACROSS THE ENTIRE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND SANTA CRUZ COUNTY THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING. STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED IN THE HILLS OF THE NORTH AND EAST BAY. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE BETWEEN LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND LATE TUESDAY NIGHT. WINDS WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE ON WEDNESDAY. THE COLD AND DRY AIRMASS THAT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION ON TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT WILL RESULT IN FREEZING NIGHTTIME TEMPERATURES ONCE WINDS SUBSIDE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
