I find it very irresponsible that this website gives false report of what really happened and was no where near being close to a shoot out this page is absolutely ridiculous

I just wanted to say I find it very shocking to know such a sweet guy and for the time i knew him would do such a crime like this.Didn’t seem that he had a troubled life.He just wanted his freedom and no part of the system. Wut a bad way 2 start the new year.
I heard the whole thing on my scanner. My grandpa actually had a stroke on 600 block commercial at the same time this incident took place. Heard both on scanner but anyway . That’s pretty much the correct info . Although the shots being fired in the air was in front a house on magnolia with a report party informing dispatch that he was seeing them pick up bullets from the ground after shooting in the air . Kinda sounded like an ambush set up but anyway. It was a male and female in-front of that house. One unit asked if they wanted to go on magnolia or come from side streets. They ended up going on side streets where this dude popped out on first lane. Awesome job setting up the perimeter. Multiple cars were struck with bullets
Sounds as if you know more about this incident. I don’t like to see a youngster charged with attempted murder of police. Something doesn’t sound right about this.
