Daniel Lunt has been named the new principal at El Camino High School by the South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees. The board members made the appointment during their May 7 meeting; the vote was unanimous. Lunt, who is scheduled to begin his duties at El Camino on July 1, will replace David Putney as the school’s administrative leader.
Lunt, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, comes to South San Francisco after working as a principal in the Anaheim Union High School District and the King City Joint Union High School District; he also has served as Assistant Superintendent Educational Services in the Bassett Unified School District.
