The ECHS Jazz Band won 1st place award at Hollywood Studios in Disney World
Riding the momentum of these fine performances the jazz band traveled to Florida where they participated in Festival Disney held at Hollywood Studios in Disney World. There they took 1st place overall and were awarded a perfect score of 100! After the performance two judges on the board of the National Association of Music Educators invited the band to apply for the International Midwest Clinic held every December in Chicago.
The El Camino High School Jazz Band brought home prestigious awards all year long
In addition several students were acknowledge with Outstanding Soloist Awards throughout the year:
