Lou Delorio, principal of Alta Loma Middle School in South San Francisco, has been named “Middle School Principal of the Year” in Region 5 by the Association of California School Administrators. Region 5 of ACSA embraces more than 300 public schools in San Mateo and San Francisco counties. Delorio’s honor was recognized and applauded during a meeting of the South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees on May 7.
